Truth is, life, as it progresses, is just a facade built on fabrications of what life is supposed to be. It takes going through years of schooling to be broken down and feel like you’ve become nothing more than a little speck of dust in this world. You’re an invalid. They take away the confidence you once had and replace it with a sea of insecurities. It takes losing your happiness to realize just how pathetic you’ve become. They gift you a deceitfully wrapped gift of anger in return for your compassion. What’s extraordinary? What’s being talented, outspoken and kind? She thought she was. Through a continuous series of mundane activities, you have become broken. Congratulations, you have just sold your soul.
